How to create a new Apple ID on your iPhone or iPad

In order to be able to download and install apps and games from the Apple App Store, you will and an Apple ID. This account also allows you to purchase movies, music, and book from iTunes. You will also need an Apple ID to sync your calendars, contact, and reminders through iCloud and you will not be able to use iMessage and FaceTime without it. Basically, you need this ID if you want to get the most of your iPhone or iPad. Fortunately, getting an Apple ID is easy and does not cost you anything to signup.
Here is a simple step by step guide to follow.
Creating a new Apple ID on your device
Step 1: go to the settings app. On the top of your screen, you will find the “Sign in to your iPhone” option. Tap this.
Step 2: Since you don’t have an Apple ID yet, click on the “Don’t have an Apple ID” option. In the next window that pops up, tap on “Create Apple ID”.
Step 3: you will be prompted to enter details such as your birth date, first name, and last name.
Step 4: On the next page you will be asked for your email address, you can use your existing email or request for a new iCloud email address. Next, create a password and verify it. You will also be asked to set up a security question.
Step 5: Finally, agree to the terms and conditions. You can also choose to merge or not merge your iCloud data such as your contact, calendars, reminders, and so on. Tap Ok to confirm that your phone is on and the process is complete.
If you have an iCloud account with an Apple ID already, you don’t need to go through this elaborate process. Simply sign in with the email address and password associated with your ID and enter your iPhone passcode if you have it set up.
